We have 54 African members in the FOCAC, which countries do you mean by cooperating in the future?
I don’t know which country will be in the cooperation? You know, the cooperation is between China and South Africa. So which country will be the next?

谢谢记者朋友提出的这个问题。因为中非合作论坛这个机制是双主席的。本届和上届论坛的共同主席国是南非。这次论坛峰会结束，南非作为共同主席国的任期也结束了。今天下午会议通过的文件中，还有中非领导人共见记者的时候，会宣布下一任非方主席国是哪个国家。我大概还是知道一些的，但是因为文件还没有宣布，所以现在还是暂时保住这个秘密吧。到时候可以给在座的朋友，还有塞内加尔一个惊喜。
FOCAC is run on a co-chair mechanism, so this year is China and South Africa. South Africa’s tenure is after today’s summit. The next co-chair will be adopted by this afternoon’s document as well it will be announced at this afternoon’s press conference. So the document is yet to be adopted, so I suggest a little patience here. Then you may have some surprise when it was finally announced.

At yesterday’s keynote speech, president Xi Jinping expounded vividly on the concept of building a closer community with a shared future for China and Africa.

习主席也说到中国是世界上最大的发展中国家。非洲是发展中国家最集中的大陆。所以我们中非双方早已是休戚与共的命运共同体。我们现在就是携手打造更紧密的中非命运共同体。
As president Xi Jinping said, China is the largest developing country, while Africa is the continent hosting the largest number of developing countries. So we two sides have already shared will. So what we are doing now is a closer shared community with a shared future.

中非命运共同体奉行的理念，就是责任共担，合作共赢，幸福共享，文化共兴，安全共筑，和谐共生。
The community we are pursuing is one that assumes joint responsibility, pursues win-win cooperation, delivers happiness for all, enjoys cultural prosperity, and common security, pursues harmony between men and nature.

这六位一体，六个方面，对中非命运共同体，进行了非常详细的阐述。
These six aspects are integral to each other, and they enriches the concept of “a closer community with a shared future”.

中非从来就是命运共同体，特别是在政治方面，我们一向有很多共同语言。我们一向在设计彼此核心利益和重大关切的问题上，是相互理解，相互支持的。在国际事务上，是协作配合的。今后我们中非双方进一步在这些方面加强合作，一定能为维护中非和发展中国家的共同利益做出更大的贡献。
On the political front, China and Africa share a lot of common grounds, and on our core interests and major concerns. We understand and support each other. Our two sides maintain close coordination on international and regional affairs. So in the future, our cooperation will surely uphold the interests of China, Africa and the developing countries.

关于在打造携手共创中非命运共同体，第二条里，习主席希望中非双方抓住中非双方发展战略对接，和共建一带一路，非常好的机遇。使中非双方合作有更大的空间，有更加强有力的活力。
As to this community that pursues win-win cooperation, the importance is to seek greater synergy between our different development strategies, and to jointly build Belt and Road Initiative, so as to expand our cooperation potentials.

所以相信中非携手共建更紧密的中非命运共同体，中非之间的合作前景是更广阔的。
This community will usher in a brighter future for China-Africa cooperation.

也一定能为推动构建人类命运共同体树立一个典范。
We will surely play a exemplary role in the community with a shared future for all mankind.

中国古人说过这句话，“兄弟同心，其利断金。”相信我们中非双方共同努力，联手打造更紧密的中非命运共同体的构想是一定会实现的。
The old saying goes in China that brothers work together can bend gold. So if China and Africa and joint hands to achieve this community with a shared future. Then we will surely usher in a brighter future for our two sides.
