Here’s today to release the WISPIRG foundation‘s 33rd annual trouble in Toyland: toys safety report.
今天WISPIRG基金会公布了第33届有关玩具的年度问题报告：玩具安全。

At the message today, it’s clear we need to protect our youngers from unsafe toys. Parents and caregivers should make sure to watch out the common hazard when shopping for toys.
从今日的信息中，很明显我们需要保护我们的孩子，让他们远离不安全的玩具。家长和看护人员在购买玩具时应小心留意那些常见的危害。

Slime has been a popular toy and unfortunately our testing found toxic levels of boron in some popular Slimes. Likely in form of borax, these levels exceed over 15 times the limit set by the European Union. When ingested even small amounts of boron can cause vomiting, nausea and even long term reproductive health issues. Despite actions by Canada, the European Union, Jordan and other countries, the US currently has no limit on Boron in children’s products.
我们都知道，黏胶玩具“史莱姆”是一种备受欢迎的玩具，然而不幸的是，我们的测试发现一些广受好评的“史莱姆”成分中硼含量超标。这些硼很可能以硼砂的形式出现，含量远超过欧盟规定的上限的15倍。即使仅仅摄入少量的硼，也能够引起呕吐、恶心甚至长期的生育问题。尽管加拿大、欧盟、约旦等国家已经采取了行动，但目前美国对儿童产品中的硼含量还是没有限制。

And without a warning label, parents are unaware of the potential danger in these popular Slime products. So, we’re calling on policymakers to require labeling children’s products are with boron concentrations and to investigate what limit should be set.
如果没有警告标签，家长们就不会意识到这些热销的黏胶玩具的潜在危险。因此，我们呼吁政策制定者制定相关政策，要求商家在儿童产品上标明含硼浓度，并确定其可使用量的最大限度。

But in the meantime, parents should make sure they’ll take caution when their kids are playing these toys. So watch out and make sure that if is ingested, they call poison control immediately.

The next topic in our report is excessively noisy toys. Excessive noise can cause hearing less which can lead to so long term trouble learning vocabulary, grammar and other aspects of verbal communication. This year we found a toy plane that our audio tests indicate may produce noise up to cause hearing damage.

Smart ways to use internet connectivity to do long distance communication AI type. Response as an app connectivity and much more than that, but unfortunately the use, ah, this also along the way can cause these toys to collect data on children, share consumer information and potentially violate a children’s privacy.

We recommend evaluating what a smart toy knows about your child who might share the information with them for what purpose，and what security risks that exposed.
