Cigarette smoking in the US hits record low,
but it's not all good news

Heart attacks, researchers say that overall more men have them than women. However, new research from university of Oxford shows that smoking, diabetes and high blood pressure increase the risk of heart attack more in women than in men.

Researchers say that women who smoke are three times more likely to have heart attack compared with women who never smoke. While the men who smoke have only twice the risk of heart attack compared with men who have never smoke.

If you have high blood pressure, researchers say that also increases the risk. Women with high blood pressure have an 83% risk of heart attack compared to men.
Although the risk of heart attack is 3 times higher in men than women, research say over time, women will likely to have about the same amount of heart attack compare to men because of population, aging and an increasing prevalence of unhealthy lifestyle.

Researchers say this report highlights the importance of not smoke ,making sure your high blood pressure and diabetes are treated properly
