Only today when so many people who live here realize the true extent of destruction, the devastation left by this historic hurricane. Never before had they endured a category 4 hurricane and keep in mind , it is nearly a category 5.
直到今天当地人民才发现这场空前的台风究竟给他们带来了怎样的灾难，他们之前从来没有经历过4级飓风，然而今天的这场飓风的级别已经接近5级了
Tonight we have just landed after flying in the Black Hawk over a worst-hit area---Mexico beach.

The moment you came upon that beach community from the air you can see it, homes wiped off the earth, some sitting in the middle of the street; buildings with their roof tops gone, and remember, that’s right near where it made land fall at 155 mile per hour.

From the sky, nearly every building we fly over are damaged in some way. The roof top blows right off those rooms. Entire blocks reduce to splintered piles of debris. This is all that remains of so many homes with families still waiting to return

You can see in many places, homes have been simply swept away, homes are sitting in the middle of the streets, clearly swept away by the storm surge

And there is another view of from this drone flying over Mexico beach, entire roof tops blocking the street.
