EU official: Time running out on Brexit

Another day another frantic round of diplomacy for Britain's Theresa May. She's made a trip across Alps to the Salzburg of Austria. And right now, she is sitting down the dinner with her European Union counterparts, trying to get them on side with her version of Brexit.
英国首相特蕾莎•梅(Theresa May)又迎来了一轮疯狂的外交活动。她飞越阿尔卑斯山去到奥地利的萨尔茨堡。现在，她正与欧盟各国领导人共进晚餐，试图让他们跟她站在同一战线，支持英国脱欧。

It sounds easy, right? Unlike most things in this long process, things are pretty confusing and far from easy. For days, there have been hints of progress, especially on the thorny issue of the Irish border.

Ah. Right now, it's really hard to tell. We just saw a slew of European leaders, including Theresa May, come into the theater of right by us to start this dinner and this dinner is a lot about setting the tone and the mood, I mean, no formal deal is going to be created here.

I mean, we heard from the Prime Minister of Malta, for example. He was saying, you know, there is always room for negotiation as long as those terms don't necessarily violate our European rules because we are not the ones who kicked Britain out of the European Union, they kicked themselves out.

And so clearly there is tensions boiling underneath the surface. And Theresa May will try to make her pitch for her plan at this dinner and it's probably happening right now.

And tomorrow, these leaders will get together and talk amongst themselves about that. The real action will happen in October during a more formal summit on today's task announced. And there will be another special Brexit Summit in November when he expects the final deal to finally realized.
